I’ll admit I had no interest in watching this film when the trailer first appeared on Netflix and yet I’m happy to say that the short special is actually quite good.
Peculiar comedy at it’s best is one way to sum up ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein’. The film evokes a similar awkward comedy akin to the brilliant english tv series ‘Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace’ and yet it is entirely original in it’s execution.
There is a plethora of joke building, including a brilliant recurring bit surrounding Chekhov’s gun, throughout the very well made and utterly weird film.
I can see how the film will not suit everyone’s taste yet l found it thoroughly enjoyable.
